OUR MISSION

Dream Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation, Inc. gives horses a second chance—and creates opportunities for people to experience something meaningful in return.

We take in horses that are at risk of homelessness or being slaughtered and provide them with the care, time, and attention they need to heal. From daily feeding and grooming to coordinating veterinary and farrier care, every horse receives individualized support.

At the same time, we open our doors to the community. Through camps, lessons, volunteer opportunities, and youth work programs, people are able to slow down, connect, and learn through hands-on experiences with our horses—no prior experience needed.

Hands-On Community Programs

We offer opportunities for children and adults to interact with horses in a safe, supportive environment. Through activities like grooming, handling, and basic horse care, participants build confidence, responsibility, and a connection with animals—no prior experience needed.

Youth Employment & Work Experience

We partner with local organizations to provide real-world work opportunities for youth. Participants gain hands-on experience by helping with daily barn tasks such as feeding horses, cleaning stalls, organizing barn areas, and maintaining the property—all while learning responsibility and teamwork.

Volunteer & Community Service Opportunities

We welcome volunteers, including high school students in need of community service hours. Volunteers play a vital role in supporting daily operations while gaining valuable, hands-on experience working with horses.
